Freddy vs Jason

Earning an unbelievable $115 million in gross revenue is Freddy vs Jason, a film about the battle of Freddy Krueger from the A Nightmare on Elm Street series and Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.

Although the residents of Springwood have always been afraid of Krueger, they have overcome these issues, making him weak and powerless. 

To regain control, he decides to resurrect Jason to bring to Springwood but as he starts to take over Krueger’s territory, a violent conflict results.

Freddy vs Jason Plot

Freddy vs Jason opens with Krueger trapped in Hell.  He disguises himself to be Jason’s mother and sets off to find him to convince him to slaughter the teenagers of Springwood.  Krueger knows that even if Jason does all the work, he will be able to take credit and escape from Hell because people will fear him again.

When the plot of Freddy vs Jason moves to the city rather than Hell, Jason goes directly to the Elm Street house where a girl named Lori Campbell lives with her father.  Lori, along with her friends, Trey, Blake, Gibb and Kia are hanging out when the first murders in Freddy vs Jason occur. 

Jason murders Trey with his machete and they are all taken to the police station for questioning.  Lori falls asleep after  hearing officers talking about Krueger and stares to dream about him which is slowly granting him some power back.  Next, Blake wakes up and finds his father beheaded so naturally, he is blamed for both murders.

A bit later in Freddy vs Jason, Lori is telling her friends Gibb and Kia that she has been having dreams about Krueger.  Then, at a party, Gibb has a dream about him when she falls asleep.  While she is sleeping, a guy at the rave attempts to rape her but Jason shows up and kills them both which angers Krueger because now everyone is fearing Jason rather than him.

The plot really thickens in Freddy vs Jason when Lori, Will, Kia and a couple others formulate a plot to take Jason to Camp Crystal Lake where he belongs while Lori pulls Krueger into the real world so he can fight Jason.  Once inside the dreamworld, Jason becomes quite mad as he realizes that he was tricked and Krueger is a little worried because he thinks that Jason has no fears to defeat him with.  However, he soon discovers that Jason does have a fear of drowning so he brings him into a nightmare when he was young and begins to drown him.

Right before Krueger is able to kill Jason, Lori has entered into the dreamworld which unfortunately causes Jason to wake up and attack her friends at Crystal Lake.  Freddy tells Lori he killed her mother and tries to attack her but she pulls him inside a burning cabin. 

Freddy vs Jason turns into a gruesome battle between the two.  Once Jason has fell in the water and Krueger is kneeling on the docks, Lori picks up Jason’s machete and beheads Krueger.  Freddy vs Jason ends the next morning with Jason rising out of the water carrying Freddy’s head and a machete and offers a wink and his eerie laugh before he walks away.
