Hellseeker
Released October 15th, 2002, (Hellraiser) Hellseeker is the sixth in the thriller series and the second film to be released straight to DVD without any time spent at the movie theater. Directed by Rick Bota with a $3 million budget, this film did receive better reviews than its predecessor but it still failed at pleasing true Pinhead fans.

(Hellraiser) Hellseeker Plot
Trevor (played by Dean Winters) is in a tragic car accident with his wife Kristy as Hellseeker opens. Their car suddenly loses control and plunges into a river off a bridge and although Trevor does escape, Kristy is nowhere to be found. Interestingly, when the police investigate the car, they find both doors are open so one can only assume and hope that she managed to get away as well.
Hellseeker jumps ahead one month with Trevor waking up from a head injury in the hospital. He knows that his wife is missing but he’s having a really hard time distinguishing between reality and fantasy. Despite his injuries, Trevor quickly finds himself labeled as the prime suspect for a murder case by two homicide detectives.
Strange events begin occurring to Trevor in Hellseeker and reality is shown to him by Pinhead. Trevor begins to come to terms with the fact that he really wasn’t a good guy, cheating on his wife several times. Kristy is alive but Trevor wants to get rid of her so he makes her open the Lament Configuration. Upon doing so, she makes a deal with Pinhead that if he lets her live, she’ll give him five other souls. For Hellraiser fans, this was all too familiar from the first movie.
Trevor learns about his past and when he removes the sheet from the body on the operating table, expecting to see Kristy, he really sees himself. He was the fifth soul Kristy gave Pinhead. He discovers he has been living in limbo and
this has all been punishment for being such a bad person and being unfaithful to his wife.

Hellseeker ends with Kristy holding the Lament Configuration in her hand and walking away from the crime scene. It is revealed that she managed to pin the murders on Trevor before she shot him in the head, causing him to lose control of the car and why they ended up in the river.
